really nice, secluded park. Nice staff. Some sites on water and you can beach canoe or kayak at your site. 1 boat launch on Bucks Pond and another (w/ concrete ramp) onto Lake Kashaqua (allows motorboats). Swim area with sandy beach, bath houses. Kashaqua connects to Rainbow Lake without portage. Good fishing in both lakes. Ice and other necessities just outside the park. Park is well maintained, but like most DEC campgrounds, restroom and shower facilities are aging, but adequate. 15 miles to Town of Saranac Lake for major supplies.
